Calea Janell Brookins was born on November 2, 1992, in
Gainesville, Florida, to Robbietta Jones and Tommy
Brookins. She was a loving daughter, devoted mother, and
cherished family member whose life touched many.
Calea received her education at Vanguard High School i n
Ocala, Florida, and continued her studies a t the College of
Central Florida. She worked as a waitress and was known
for her kind spirit and warm personality. A t the age of 21,
she accepted Christ a s her Savior, carrying her faith with
her throughout her life.
Calea found her greatest joy in spending time with her
children, who meant everything to her. Her love, strength,
and presence will forever remain i n their hearts.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her children,
Carolyn Tate, Benjamin Anderson, and Liam Sanders; her
sister, Tamara Brookins; her parents, Robbietta Jones and
Tommy Brookins; her brothers, Caleb Honor, Sam Honor
Jr., and Shamar Honor; her special dad, Sam Honor Sr.; her
grandmother, Millie Brookins; her uncles, Kelvin Anderson
and Markis Wilson; her aunts, Peggy Brookins and Sylvia
Gardner; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Calea will be deeply missed and forever remembered by
all who knew and loved her.
Calea Janell Brookins departed this life on February 6 ,
2026. She was preceded in death by her son,
Cashar "Mac" Smith, Jr.
