Kenneth Leonard McFatten was born on October 30, 1957, to Darlene L. Lewis and Levi McFatten. He received his formal education through the Marion County School System and was a proud graduate of Vanguard High School, Class of 1975. Atter graduation, Kenneth continued his educational journey by attending Tampa Tech. He later earned an electrician degree from the College of Central Florida and also obtained a barber's certification from barber school in Jacksonville, Florida.
Kenneth accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 17 at Greater Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, where he began his walk of faith
On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, Kenneth peacefully transitioned from this life to be with our Heavenly Father.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Lewis; his father, Levi McFatten; his brother, Darryl Swift; and his niece, Kindra Kinsler:
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his brother, Reginald "Mark" Swift (Wanda Gail Swift); his sisters, Sytoya Harvin, Shajuana Poole, Anna Latore Mclatten, and Yolanda Jones; his niece, Kasey Swift; and his great-nieces, Jayda Kinsler and Raelynn and Rilynn McNair:
He also leaves behind a loving family including his aunts, Teretha Mckinnay, Betty Issac, Ethel Burgess, Geraldine Gadson, Annette Follins, Glendora Clayton, Vera Robinson, Debra Johnson, anc Gladys McFadden; his uncles, John Gadson, Jimmie Johnson, Willie Johnson, Robert Johnson, Pastor Herbert McFadden, and PastorJoseph McFadden; his godmother, Grace Coleman; his godbrother, Robert Barron; and his special friend, Shonia West.
Kenneth will also be deeply missed by his sorrowing cousins, extended family, and many friends whose lives were touched by his presence
