To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
On Monday, February 2, 2026, God in His infinite wisdom called His daughter, Pamela Darlene Griffin, from labor to reward. While our hearts are heavy, we gather with gratitude to celebrate a life that poured love into family, faith, and community. We trust God’s timing, knowing He makes no mistakes.
Pamela was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life, Frankie L. Griffin, in 1993. Their marriage was a testimony of loyalty, partnership, and enduring commitment. Together they built a foundation that blessed their children and grandchildren for generations to come.
A proud graduate of North Marion High School, Class of 1984, Pamela later devoted 32 faithful years of service to the Marion County School Board as a school bus driver. To many, she was more than the driver. She was a steady voice in the morning, a safe return in the afternoon, and a caring presence families trusted with what mattered most. Her work was her ministry.
Pamela found strength and spiritual grounding at Willow Plant Missionary Baptist Church in Citra, Florida. Her faith shaped how she loved, how she served, and how she stood strong for her family.
In her free time, Pamela enjoyed couponing, fishing, and making memories with the people she loved. She treasured gatherings, laughter, and simple moments. Her presence brought warmth. Her smile brought comfort. Her love held everybody together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel Manns; her brother, Wayne; her sister, Claudette; and her brother, Timothy Sr.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her devoted husband, Frankie; her children, Joaquin, Jarod, Jarvis, Frankie, Tremaine, Sable, and Kyeisha; her beloved Mother Louise Manns, grandchildren, Joaquin Jr, Jarod Jr, Jarvis Jr, Treon, Jayden, Kayden, Chris, Levi, Kingston, Prince, Kaleb, Darryl, Kenneth, Kaiidyn, Alex, Jessiah, Jayden, Tremaine Jr, Janiyah, Jamari, Kimora, Knley, Nadia, Leilani, Jalea, Neveah, Ariel, Asia, Jazell, and Jaycee; her siblings, Lois, Nathaniel, Jennifer, Janet, and Lindell; her cherished godchildren, Tyeisha and Ciera; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and dear friends.
